We know that any change in behavior in your pet is very concerning! Thankfully there are several options available when we’re not available. Concerning symptoms in your pet include:

  • Vomiting for more than 24 hours
  • Uncontrollable diarrhea or bloody diarrhea
  • Retching or attempting to vomit without production which can indicate a gastric dilatation and volvulus or bloat
  • Ingestion of known toxins such as rodenticide or human medications
  • Ingestion of chocolate, grapes, or raisins
  • Pale gums
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Prolonged labor
  • Straining to urinate
  • Acute trauma including hit by car
  • Continual seizure activity
  • Wounds and lacerations
  • Decrease in mental responsiveness
