All Seasons Veterinary Care of Polk City, IA

When it comes to your pets’ health and well-being, choosing the right veterinary practice is crucial. All Seasons Veterinary Care stands out as a premier destination for pet owners in Polk City and beyond. We are a full-service, modernized veterinary practice that prides itself on delivering compassionate and individualized care tailored to the unique needs of your dogs and cats.

Opened in October 2022, our practice started with just four dedicated staff members and some ambitious dreams. Dr. Chrouser recognized the need for more veterinary care options in Polk City and decided to plant roots right here! She and her husband transformed what was once the old Luana Bank into a beautiful, functional veterinary clinic. They took on the challenge of gutting the building—removing walls, replacing floors, and bringing their vision to life.

Our clinic is equipped with all the modern conveniences designed not only for aesthetics but also for optimal functionality. From adjustable exam tables to a private room for those heartfelt farewells, we’ve created a space that truly serves both pets and their loving families.

We are incredibly grateful to be part of this community and cherish the wonderful relationships we’ve built along the way. Thank you for allowing us to serve you and your furry companions!

Dr. Autumn Chrouser

Dr. Autumn Chrouser

Owner, Veterinarian

Hello! I’m Dr. Autumn Chrouser, and it’s a genuine pleasure to introduce myself to you. As an experienced veterinarian and proud owner of All Seasons Veterinary Care, I’m truly thrilled to be part of the Polk City community and to care for so many wonderful pets and their families.

I graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011, and since then, I’ve gained extensive experience in preventive care, surgery, advanced diagnostics, dentistry, and emergency medicine. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the human-animal bond and the trust that comes with being part of each pet’s health journey. Providing compassionate, high-quality care and building lasting relationships with clients are what I value most about this profession.

At home, my husband and I have three amazing children, our friendly dog Cody – who loves greeting everyone at the clinic – and two cats, Samuel J. Cat and Rocky. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, keeping up with Cody’s adventures, or traveling to new places with my family whenever we can.

I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love every day and to serve this wonderful community. I’m sincerely looking forward to continuing to care for your beloved pets for many years to come!

Dr. Amy Williamson

Dr. Amy Williamson

Veterinarian

Hi, I’m Dr. Amy Williamson! I graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, and I’ve been working in small animal medicine ever since. Over the years, I’ve developed special interests in soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and wellness care, but at the heart of it all, my favorite part of being a veterinarian is getting to build relationships with pets and the people who love them. Helping animals live long, healthy, happy lives is truly what keeps me inspired every day.

At home, life is happily run by my three spoiled buff-colored cats: Chewy, Monkey, and Rocco. Each of them has a big personality, and they definitely keep me laughing. Outside of the clinic, I love spending time outdoors—whether it’s swimming, hiking, or just relaxing in the sunshine. Traveling is also a big part of my life, especially trips to the beach or back to Minnesota where I grew up. And of course, when it’s game day, you can bet I’ll be cheering loudly for the Cyclones!

I’m so excited to be part of the team here at All Seasons Veterinary Care, and I can’t wait to get to know you and your pets.

Cassie

Cassie

RVT, Technician

Hello, my name is Cassie! I’m a Registered Veterinary Technician and a proud graduate of DMACC’s Veterinary Technology Program, Class of 2019. I’ve been part of the animal care industry since 2016, but my love for helping animals started long before that. As a kid, I was always “fixing” my stuffed animals and couldn’t resist petting every dog I met. It’s safe to say I found my calling early on!

One of my favorite parts of working in veterinary medicine is client education. I’m passionate about helping pet owners feel confident and informed when it comes to caring for their furry family members. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the bond between pets and their people grow stronger through understanding and trust.

At home, I share my life with my wonderful wife, our playful pup Jack Skellington, and two adorable cats, Pam and Maize. In my free time, I love curling up with a good book, getting creative with crafts, or heading out for a hike with my wife and Jack. And of course, no outing is complete without discovering a new coffee shopbecause let’s be honest, you can never have too much coffee!

Vanessa

Vanessa

Technician

My name is, Vanessa! I joined the All Seasons Veterinary Care team in 2023, but I’ve been working in the veterinary field since 2016, and I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else! I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Ecology from Iowa State University in 2019, and I’m currently working toward my Veterinary Technician Certification through Penn Foster University.

What I love most about being a technician is having the opportunity to help those who can’t speak for themselves. Every day brings something new, and I find so much joy in being able to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families.

At home, I live with my husband, Jon, and our four cats – Hudson, Louie, Alfie, and Taz – who always keep life interesting. When I’m not at the clinic, you can usually find me traveling, reading, doing puzzles, or fostering kittens (because there’s always room for one more tiny set of paws!).

Steph

Steph

Technician

Hi, I’m Steph! I’ve been working in the animal care industry since 2009, over 17 years now! I graduated from National American University with my AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2011, earned my Bachelor’s in Management in 2014, and most recently completed a Certificate in Therapeutic Nutrition in 2024. I’m also currently working toward becoming an ASL interpreter, something I’m incredibly passionate about!

What I love most about this field is being able to advocate for pets and build lasting relationships with both animals and their families. My personal motto in veterinary medicine has always been “to be a voice for the voiceless,” and it’s a philosophy that guides everything I do.

At home, I share my life with my human family as well as my two pets; Oliver, my 12-year-old Chihuahua mix who’s a little spicy but mostly sweet, and Norbert, my bearded dragon with plenty of personality. In my free time, you’ll usually find me playing board games with my family, curled up with a good book, or diving into something creative – whether it’s music, painting, crocheting, or any number of crafty projects.

Haylee

Haylee

Client Service Representative

Hey there, I’m Haylee! I’ve been working in the animal industry since 2020 and quickly discovered that my favorite part of veterinary medicine is connecting with pet parents and their furry family members. I began my college journey at Iowa State University before transferring to a community college, where I earned my Associate of Science degree. During that time, I realized my true passion wasn’t in the treatment area but right up front helping clients, building relationships, and making each visit as positive and stress-free as possible.

At ASVC, I’m lucky enough to do exactly that! I manage our social media and marketing while also greeting clients at the front desk as part of the reception team. My goal is to make every client and pet feel welcome the moment they walk through our doors.

I’ve always had a special love for catsso much so that I share my home with three feline companions: Patsy, Sweet Pea, and our senior gentleman, Dunkin’. My partner also lives with us, though he’s learned he’s happily outnumbered in our cat-centric household.

Cody Bear

Cody Bear

Clinic Greeter

Hi there! My name is Cody Bear, and I’m the official clinic greeter here at All Seasons Veterinary Care! My mom, Dr. Chrouser, adopted me from a farm in 2024, and I joined the ASVC team when I was just 8 weeks old. Ever since then, I’ve taken my job very seriously – welcoming clients with tail wags, supervising deliveries, and making sure every package that comes through the door includes a treat just for me.

I also love meeting new puppies and helping them learn that the vet can be a fun, friendly place (and that other dogs aren’t so scary after all!).

When I’m not hard at work, you can usually find me playing with my three small humans, “quality checking” my feline brother’s food to make sure it’s safe, or lounging on the patio furniture soaking up the sunshine. Life at ASVC is pretty great – lots of love, treats, and belly rubs!
